WELCOME TO STUDIO NGONG!
I AM SO HAPPY YOU STOPPED BY!
My name is Anne Thomsen and I am a creative conservationist, surface designer, fine artist, and archaeological illustrator. My passion for conservation and sustainability is at the heart of my art business, Studio Ngong.
Being able to contribute my art and donating gross profits to support conservation, makes me happy.
I am always open to collaborative projects that unite creativity and love for the planet to make a positive impact on conservation efforts.
CONSERVATION IS A COMMUNITY EFFORT.
A percentage of every sale is donated to conservation organisations that support wildlife and communities. Our conservation efforts can only be successful if the coexistence between humans and animals is harmonious.
I am honoured to be partnered with some incredible conservation organisations including:
- David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation
- Endangered Wildlife Trust
- Grévy’s Zebra Trust
- Giraffe Conservation Foundation
- Zambian Primate Project
- Save the Rhino International
- An Ambassador to Game Rangers International
- Wildlife Kids and Chui Mamas of Ewaso Village in Laikipia County, Kenya
- And a Corporate Sponsor of Nairobi National Park.
Studio Ngong is an online shop that sells sustainable and eco-friendly products featuring whimsical wildlife and nurturing nature. My goal for Studio Ngong is to offer useful, fun and elegant everyday objects for living life – all the while giving us pleasant daily reminders of the natural world around us. I am always in search of the most reusable, sustainable, and eco-friendly products to sell so that we may create a healthier planet for us all.
I have been inspired by wildlife, passionate about protecting our planet, and creating art from an early age. Whether at home in my studio, or on the road, I am always equipped with my pencils, paints, and paper at the ready.
Inspiration surrounds us - in our back yard, floating down a river, enjoying the seaside, strolling down a city street, on safari - no matter where we are - we only need to open our eyes to see it.
